Ubuntu 12.10 Released

Ubuntu 12.10 has been released. Bringing few changes that will make most users happy, such the controversial Amazon search in Dash, Unity Previews, ‘Unity Web apps’, Kernel 3.5, Firefox 16.0 (plus up-to-date versions of other software, except for Nautilus as it is still 3.4.2) etc.

Unity 2D desktop is also removed and Unity 3D will be running in a fallback mode, if your hardware aren’t capable of handling the 3D rendering. And the disc images are no longer sized at 700MB, and is about 763MB.

This is just a fraction of the new changes to mention. You can get the latest version of Ubuntu from this page.
